Our Story

Hi, I’m Sara — founder of The Carlisle Collective, a lifelong lover of design, décor, and all things home. My love for beautiful spaces started young — I was the kid redecorating my room monthly and asking for new throw pillows instead of toys.

After graduating from The University of Alabama with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Communication Studies, I decided to take a leap of faith and bring my lifelong dream to life — creating a curated home décor and gift store that celebrates vibrant, Southern living with a timeless, modern touch. 

I grew up on Lake Martin, Alabama, where Southern hospitality wasn’t just a tradition — it was a way of life. My grandparents, whose last name was Carlisle, embodied that spirit wholeheartedly. Their warmth, grace, and love for gathering inspired both the name and the heart behind The Carlisle Collective.

Now based in Nashville, Tennessee, I’m excited to share this dream with you — a collection that reflects my passion for elevated design, meaningful gifting, and the beauty of a well-dressed home.
